Boo :( I’m a sand panda bear. So, I’d never thought I would be writing about this. Honestly I love my job because every single time I’d come home I tell my mommy about my day. But the ministry I serve in at Church, known as the Puppet ministry got cancelled due to low numbers. I have been/served in the program for two years or 4 terms. I am thankful for the opportunities I got to experience, as a teacher’s assistant from photocopying puppet scripts, supervising teenagers and giving them acting advice. I am also thankful for the things I learnt in the class. I think a misconception about puppet class or any other service in church for example teaching children is…. It isn’t a class where you preform for preschoolers and kindergarten classes. Or it isn’t a job where you just teach. But along the way you learn as well. Well for me I learnt a lot from hearing and watching the students/puppets preform. I also learnt a lot teaching/assisting in Summer Sunday School. *That was before I got kicked out -_-.* (By The Way, I’m over that). Any-ways in conclusion I also thank all the people I’ve met in this industry. I am not going to name any names but here are there initials C.C., L.N. last but not least S.L. It’s sad to let this puppet class go when it helped me back on my feet from the whole drama last summer. This sounds cheesy but…. “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever. If it does’t, then it was never meant to be.” In the end I just want to assure you I am sad but I am staying strong. Right now my plan is to continue to attend morning service with my sister on Sunday mornings. I also hope I can find a class I feel comfortable in and serve in. :) Before I leave, I'll leave you with two images of our Puppet Scripts to take a look at. Oh and enjoy the video I made called "De Cy Paul I'll Always Remember You Puppet Class" At the bottom of the page. Enjoy!!! Thank You For Reading MaBlog!!! So some things I do, If I were a teacher, commander, summer interns, President etc is the following.
The reason I want adults, teachers, counsellors, parents to concentrate on grades 12s & 7s. Because when I was in grade 12 & 7, I was lost graduating Elementary school and going to a bigger school where big kids will stuff you in lockers was a scary thought for me. One other grade I think people should concentrate on is grade 12. When I was in grade 12, I was lost as well. Graduating high school and going out into the big world not knowing where to go or what to do. Number two people like me, often hide their feelings behind their smile. Talk with your children, make sure they aren't hiding their feelings. Last but not least, during my summer 2012 my big d aka *dad* made me volunteer. Teens getting out of high school, volunteering is good it will show people not only are you good at school, but you help out in the community. Any who my Sister, volunteered at Cariboo park my *d* made me tag along as well. Because the activity started a week already, my amazing park leader *M* told the head coordinator or head park leader *AI*, I would like to volunteer and she gladly got me a form to fill out, and I volunteered for the rest of the summer. But throughout summer other kids, also volunteered and *AI* and *M* also let them volunteer. Turns out I volunteered the most at Cariboo park that summer. BTW *AI* got promoted she is not the coordinator or head park leader now. <3 Thank You For Reading Ma Blog. |
